Everton's Brazil and Otamendi's Argentina qualified for the quarter-finals of the Copa America and will face Chile and Ecuador, respectively.

After beating Venezuela, (3-0) Peru (4-0) and Colombia (2-1) and drawing with Ecuador (1-1), Brazil finished in first place in Group B with 10 points and will now fight to qualify for the semi-finals against Chile, at 1:00 am on July 3, Saturday.

In turn, Argentina drew with Chile (1-1) and beat Uruguay (1-0), Paraguay (1-0) and Bolivia (4-1), finishing also with 10 points and in the first position of Group A. They will lock horns with Ecuador, in a match scheduled for 2:00 am on Sunday, July 4.

The winger Everton started against Peru and Ecuador – an encounter in which he provided an assist – and came on  during the match against Colombia, while center-back Otamendi played the 90 minutes in Argentina's first two matches (Chile and Uruguay).
