"I am from Sacramento, California, and played football there until I was 17, when I went to college [Humboldt State University]. There I played for four more years. Then I went to FH, in Iceland, where I spent one season, I spent three months in London, at West Ham, and now I'm here, at Benfica", she stated to BTV.

It is a great club to be in and I am loving these early days. It's the biggest club in Portugal, with a lot of history. It is a club that always thinks about winning and women's football is a winning team. I've already met some people from the coaching staff and I can't wait to start", she claimed.

Visiting the Benfica Museum – Cosme Damião, Katelin Talbert was impressed with the Reds' collection and hopes to contribute to the winning of "more titles".
"I hope to help Benfica win more titles, to be successful and to win.I love the Museum, because it shows how good and successful the Club has been. It is incredible to see this Museum with so many trophies. My goals are to improve as a player and to work well with this excellent team", she stressed.

The Members and supporters of Sport Lisboa e Benfica can witness the first signs of a new era this Sunday, at 5 pm, at Estádio da Luz. The training session of the professional football team, led by Roger Schmidt, will be open to the public and the forwards Henrique Araújo and Musa leave the invitation for the fans to go to the Cathedral: "On Sunday, we count on all Benfiquistas in our stadium!"

The Sacred Mantle for a new era has been revealed ! It is with a tribute to the city of Lisbon that adidas and Sport Lisboa e Benfica unveil the first of three jerseys that the Club will wear in the 2022/23 season. The home jersey, launched this Thursday, June 30, has the 25 de Abril Bridge printed on the back, reflecting the passion for the city. Henrique Araújo, Paulo Bernardo, Morato, Gonçalo Ramos, João Mário, Lara Pintassilgo, Cloé Lacasse, Maria Negrão, Francisca Nazareth e Andreia Faria have already had the opportunity to wear the renewed Sacred Mantle. The new jersey will be on sale, starting this Thursday, June 30, in official adidas and SL Benfica stores, as well as in the main sports stores in the country with a recommended retail price of 90 euros (see here).
