Benfica will host one of the rounds of the qualification tournament (group F) for the basketball Champions League group stage. The event is scheduled for September 21, 23, and 25 at the Pavilhão Fidelidade.

Benfica will face Golden Eagle Ylli (Kosovo) in the quarter-finals. If they qualify, they will face Keravnos (Cyprus) in the semi-final and then, continuing on their successful path, they will face the winner of the game between Brose Bamberg (Germany) and Norrköping Dolphins (Sweden)/Budivelnyk (Ukraine) in the final.

Skopje, in Macedonia (group A), Malaga, in Spain (group G) and Belgrade, in Serbia (group E), will be the locations where the remaining qualification rounds will take place.  

The four winners of the qualification rounds will later join the 28 teams that have qualified directly for the competition.
