Forward of Benfica's women's football team, Canadian international Cloé Lacasse won the Liga BPI Player of the Month award for September/October. This award is given by the Portuguese Football Federation, based on the result of a vote among the captains of all the teams in the competition.

In the opening months of the 2022/23 Liga BPI, Cloé Lacasse contributed in the victories against Marítimo (h), Clube de Albergaria (a), Famalicão (h) and Lank Vilaverdense (h), having scored five goals, including a hat-trick on matchday 4.

The Benfica athlete obtained the majority of votes from the captains of the competing teams in the Liga BPI.

With five goals in four matches in the Liga BPI in November and December 2022, Jéssica Silva was distinguished with the Liga BPI's Best Player award for this period. The forward of Benfica's women's football team received the award and praised the work of the entire group. "It is an individual award and makes me very happy, but it is the result of collective work. Maybe I stood out in the last two months of the year, but it's a prize for everyone", claimed Jéssica Silva, to BTV.

Cloé Lacasse | Best Player of September/October in the Liga BPI

This Monday, January 9, Cloé Lacasse received the award for Best Player of the Liga BPI, a distinction for the months of September and October 2022. Awarded by the FPF based on the votes of the captains of the teams that compete in the Championship, the award was given to the forward of Benfica's women's football team, in a period in which she scored five goals and made one assist in four matches. "This award rewards the work done by me and the team", said Cloé Lacasse, to BTV.
