Tsanko wins the Lisbon Meeting in the return to competition

The shot putter was sidelined during two month due to an injury picked up in March, at the Indoor World Championships.

Tsanko Arnaudov returned to competition and with a win. Benfica's shot putter won the Lisbon Meeting, with 19,53m, two months after an absence by injury.

At the Estádio Universitário, the national shot putter record holder (21,56m) – at a time when we are two weeks away from the European Athletics Champion Clubs Cup, in Birmingham, where Benfica will compete in the men's sector –, won with 19,53 m.
