Everyone counts!

Faced with the tragedy that struck Mozambique following Cyclone Idai, Sport Lisboa e Benfica, through the Benfica Foundation, has been promoting and appealing for a broad national mobilization for the collection and delivery of canned food to meet the needs of the Mozambican people for humanitarian aid.

The appeal was made and the response has been very positive! The Casas do Benfica continue to play a determining role in the process and, just as an example, the Casa do Benfica on Terceira Island has already raised about 350 kg of supplies. 

In the Casa do Benfica in Vendas Novas, the food collection is also running at a good pace!

Reguengos de Monsaraz has also associated itself to the cause... 

The are several initiatives taking place. Apart from the women's football derby for solidarity (Sunday), the Handball has also associated itself to the cause and Wednesday's game against Madeira SAD takes on a solidarity character.

Delivery locations and dates

• From March 21 (Thursday) to March 31 (Sunday): go to the nearest Casa do Benfica and give your contribution;
• From March 27 (Wednesday) a to March 31 (Sunday): deliver your contribution at the Sport Lisboa e Benfica Stadium.
