A study developed by GroupM in Portugal shows that the Club is well known for its great mission of solidarity to mitigate the damage caused by COVID-19.

Thanks to all the donations from the Club (one million euros), the players of the professional football and the Foundation, SL Benfica has purchased thousands of equipment to help the National Health Service. The vast material secured corresponds to 1 million surgical masks - 3 layers - disposable, 1 million and 800 thousand pairs of disposable gloves, 173 500 FFP protective masks, 9005 FFP2 protective masks, 2620 goggles, 2620 protective suits, 778 infrared thermometers and 6 ventilators.
In other solidarity fronts driven by the SL Benfica brand, the donation of 5,5 tons of food to Comunidade Vida e Paz and the different initiatives of the Casas do Benfica, should be noted.
In the field of solidarity and assistance to the most needy, this ranking of notoriety ascertained by the GroupM study is ordered as follows: Continente (13%), EDP (8%), SIC (7%), Delta (5%), Lidl (4%), Galp (4%), RTP (3%), Super Bock (3%), Johnson & Johnson (3%), Auchan (3%), NOS (3%), SL Benfica (3%), MEO (2%), Pingo Doce (2%), Sonae (2%), Cristiano Ronaldo (2%) and Bial (2%).
