Pedro Pichardo will make his debut for the Portuguese National Team


The Benfica Athlete will represent Portugal in the League of Nations, on August 11 (Sunday) in Norway.

He was naturalized in December 2017, but only now will he be able to make his debut with Portugal. Pedro Pablo Pichardo will compete with the National Team on Sunday (Aug 11) in the Athletics League of Nations, that takes place in Norway, between August 9 and 11.

The Benfica player is pleased for this debut and promises to work hard to help the Portuguese team, which has 21 more benfiquistas.

"It is a great pride and honor to represent Portugal. It will be my first time in this competition. The goal is to give the team as many points as possible to try to get them into the Super League and that's what I'm going to try to do", said the Benfica athlete.


The goal of Pedro Pablo Pichardo, who recently won the Diamond League in London, is to give the team as many points as possible and meet the coach's expectations.

“As far as results are concerned, I always tell my coach that I'll always do my best to live up to expectations”, he mentioned.
